This is a placeholder privacy policy for the Ledgerly prototype. Before launching to real customers, we'll replace this with a full policy generated through a service like Termly or reviewed by counsel.
We collect the information you provide when you sign up (name, email, workspace), the financial data you enter (clients, contracts, invoices), and basic usage analytics (which pages you visit, when).
To run the product. We don't sell data, we don't share it with advertisers, we don't train AI models on customer data without explicit permission.
Active customer data is retained as long as your account exists. Cancelled accounts have 60 days of read-only access for export, then we retain encrypted backups for 7 years (industry standard for accounting records), then permanently delete.
